Sissu is also known as the name of Khwaling.

Sissu is about 15 km Southeast of Koksar and about 11.6 km from the Atal Tunnel. Sissu Weather or sissu temperature is unique because it is located in a separate valley. This Sissu valley & Sissu village is different from Kullu Manali valley in many ways.

It is the world’s longest tunnel and binds the places Manali to Lahaul. With the help of this tunnel, local people can easily visit Manali for services like medical & food too. The main reason behind creating this Atal tunnel is to connect village people anytime to the city.
